The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the room was quiet and huge with quiet air conditioning system. The breakfast was delicious and great!

It was a fab stay in a non vegan or even vegetarian friendly town, would definitely recommend this place. The location was great and brilliant, just next door to the Temple of Santa Luzia, centre of the old town and all the attractions the town has to offer and Rail & Bus Stations, Shopping Mall and Main Street, lots of good local Restaurants & Cafe's, in a lovely area.

The breakfast was rich and plentiful, the staff were genuinely helpful. Really enjoyed our rooms with touch of class.

Huge and decent sized rooms with private bathrooms. Comfortable bed and varied breakfast. Location near the oldest surviving urban manor house in the city, dating back to the 16th century, centre, and all the main sights. Good food in the restaurants such as Churrasqueira Oceano, located 10 min away.

Fab stay in a non vegan or even vegetarian friendly town, nothing to complain about. Great and brilliant location including a bus station close to the place. Delicious food in the restaurants such as Gelataria Primavera, located 10 min away. The restaurant was GREAT, for dinner.

A recently renovated property, clean, unbeatable and exceptionally nice location up to the Temple of Santa Luzia. Huge deluxe room, comfortable beds. Great views of city, especially helpful and caring staff. Very good service overall and parking close to hotel. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

We stayed at this venue and we loved it! The location is perfect, just across the street from the train station. The staff provided a perfect service. They were very friendly and helpful. The room had all the amenities we needed, from air conditioning to ironing facilities. The leisure facilities are top-notch, with an outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers, and a garden area. The Wi-Fi connection was great, and the 24-hour reception meant that we could come and go as we pleased.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and made our stay most pleasant. The hotel has fascinating and attractive interior decor and was superbly transformed from a former in-town mansion. The hotel location was perfect - right in town for walking about and going to the beach and next to the mall and train station, which came in very handy on a rainy day. The breakfast was one of the best we had in four weeks in Portugal.

This more a regret than a dislike. It is too bad that the restaurant had closed for dinner, as it obviously was quite good based on posted culinary awards and our guide book. We would have eaten at least one dinner there.

I like the staff, the building, the location...

The bed could be more confortable, the matress is not that great. breakfast could be improved and a swimming pool would really add to this beaultiful property.
